MMC Diving Services high ropes team clears the cliff face. The winter storms and intense rainfalls have resulted in the cliffs around the coast of the UK being subjected to a battering.
Small falls are not uncommon, controlled falls are even rarer, but when you own the asset at the base of the cliff, leaving nature to do its thing and surprise you when it feels like, can be costly.
A small group of landowners got MMC to clear the shrubbery which was allowing a build-up of small falls and sand to gather, hanging until it got heavy enough, at which point the next rainfall or storm would result in large sections of the cliff face falling to the ground and squashing the private assets below.
By removing the shrubbery and large canopy of trees but leaving the roots to bind the cliff together, our team pulled down the loose materials.
