We have a 55 foot barge, accommodation for a full dive team and welfare facilities on board which include a galley, office, shower and heads with a purpose built drying room. One hull is a workshop with storage space.

MMC supplied an 8-man surface supplied dive team and containerised dive spread to undertake hydro demolition works within Felixstowe dock working night shifts in black water.
The team undertook the underwater Hydro demolition of x2 concrete slabs on the seabed in approximately 10-14 meters of water. The works were part of the quay extension to the container port where the new extension ties into the old Landguard Quay wall up against the existing sheet pile wall.

The design and build contract to revamp the facilities in Portsmouth Naval Base so it can accommodate Britain's biggest warships took 18 months and £34.4m. The 90-year old structure at Middle Slip Jetty was turned into 21st Century moorings to meet all the needs of Britain's future flagship, "The Queen Elizabeth". MMC undertook the installation and welding of 408 anodes and 364 pile wraps as part of the care and maintenance program. MMC also supplied safety vessels for the tidal works, along with barges, work boats and rope access teams for works on the 150 feet navigation aids.

MMC divers carry out welding works in Channel Islands.
Island based dive team MMC returned to Guernsey for the 2nd phase of the underwater welding works for CRL. After burning off old bolts, cleats and excess metal with underwater Brocco, the team welded thirty 120 kilo anodes in to place.
To ensure the quality of the welds MMC Diving Services has developed a weld procedure through weld trials undertaken in a controlled tank by our divers. Quality procedures including recorded Inspection and test plan have been developed and implemented.
