MMC are specialist providers of access engineering solutions including rescue, rope access and confined space works. The combination of these services allows MMC to offer innovative solutions to various challenging tasks, often in hazardous and difficult working conditions.

We have a 55 foot barge, accommodation for a full dive team and welfare facilities on board which include a galley, office, shower and heads with a purpose built drying room. One hull is a workshop with storage space.

MMC Diving Services assist in the salvage of a 750 tonne sunken restaurant. The Miller and Carter restaurant situated at the Lakeside shopping centre went down two days before Christmas 2022. The popular steakhouse is housed on a replica paddle steamer on the attraction's lake.

MMC supplied a seven man dive team to undertake the removal of the wreck "MV Colline" (a wooden fishing vessel), estimated to be approximately 80 tonne. The dive team had to raise her into a position where she could be dewatered alongside the quay, she was then pumped out, the lift bags removed and towed to a nearby slipway and demolished. The reason for sinking was unknown at the time but it was thought that water entered through damaged or rotten planks.
Adler and Allan environmental oil response teams attended the site 24/7 with a spill boom containment curtain deployed, a gully sucker and pumps. Our priority during the lift was to reduce wherever possible the environmental impact from leaking diesel.

During February's heavy flooding a narrowboat broke its moorings and wedged itself across the entrance of a listed bridge, causing the closure of the river for a month, MMC's team of divers undertook the recovery.

In the space of a week MMC Divers were called out to attend three separate salvage operations, a Sunsail 40' charter yacht in the Solent, a fishing boat in Cowes river that sunk on its mooring, and a 50' cabin cruiser that sank in Oxford on the Thames.

A private owner lost his world when his home sank in Cowes River on the Isle of Wight. Mv Malbuhay an old wooden vessel sank in 5.0 meters of water on its moorings, the hull had rotten beyond repair, thankfully nobody was aboard at the time.

Mv Kahu a £3.2M luxury yacht weighing approximately 130 tonnes has sunk at its mooring on the Isle of Wight after being destroyed by fire. Crews spent 10 hours tackling the blaze, which sent plumes of black smoke into the air above East Cowes.

During a strong northerly storm, 5 of the Royal Yacht Squadron Darings went down on their moorings. MMC Diving Services designed and fabricated a steel frame to put under the hull so as not to damage these fragile boats when lifting and towing back ashore.
