MMC Diving Services site diving engineers complete a full detailed routine structural inspection and dimensional survey of a public bridge barrel and sluice gate in Poole.
The works undertaken included the removal of marine growth from the bridge abutments and sluice gate. An underwater high pressure water jet with retro gun was used which enabled the diver to stay on the job without the high pressure blasting them away.
Once the area was clean the divers undertook the Non Destructive Testing and completed the job with a full video survey. The Client was extremely pleased with the works undertaken and which were completed sooner than expected.
